The Process

• Contact Rev. Laura to ensure her availability on your chosen date. Be prepared to be flexible, as she books up quickly for the summer months.
• Choose your location for your ceremony, and ensure it is available.
• Send your invitations out only after the first two are confirmed!
• Rev. Laura will send you more information after the dates are confirmed with a step by step guide on what you need to do next.
• Pay $100 deposit fee (non-refundable) to hold your date and time.  You can change this if necessary only after confirming it with Rev. Laura.
• Set up a meeting with Rev. Laura so she can get to know you and your partner, what you want from the occasion, and to share your ideas for your ceremony.
• Rev. Laura will give her input, draw on her experiences and make recommendations. Then she will write a unique ceremony based on your preferences, incorporating the rituals and traditions that are important to you both.
• You will have the opportunity to give your feedback, and Rev. Laura will edit and confirm the final ceremony.
• Meet prior to the wedding to go over any more details and submit the Marriage License to Rev. Laura.
• Rev. Laura will arrive on your special day to conduct the ceremony.
• She will provide you a keepsake copy of the final ceremony if requested.
• Live happily ever after!

Pre-Marriage Counselling

To assist couples to clarify and focus on what their new life together will bring, Rev. Laura will be pleased to offer one or more pre-marriage counselling sessions. Using a unique "Marriage Path" process, Rev. Laura will help couples to map out the important hopes, dreams and wishes they have for each other, and for their married life. This is recommended, but is not mandatory, and is subject to an extra fee. More information will be provided on request.
